It’s been a crazy and fun summer in the adlab. Working with Haagen Dazs, winning national ADDYs and International D&AD awards, and making the coolest music video we’ve ever seen.
We had the opportunity to partner with McCann Erickson NY on making a music video for Kyle Andrews and his song, “You Always Make Me Smile,” which was debuted on 8/31/10 with a YouTube takeover. We secured the 4 highlighted videos for Music Spotlight Tuesday, and made them all about Kyle Andrews, the debut of his album, the best music video ever, and how we made it. McCann and the record label were amazing to work with and in two days there are over 384,000 views on the video.

It took 48 straight hours to fill over 120,000 water balloons, and then it took just under six minutes for them all to be destroyed. We used biodegradable water balloons and they were filled with irrigation water (no wasted precious drinking water). And the event was pure madness…a pandemonium of fun.
