Big Showing from the Adlab at the 2021 Effie Collegiate Challenge

The School of Communications via the BYU AdLab had an amazing showing in the 2020/21 Effie Collegiate Bose Brand Challenge. 

All Spring Semester entries have been reviewed by a jury of industry professionals with diverse experience across clients, agencies, and media companies. After thoughtful deliberation, each project was evaluated and Quarter-Finalists were determined based on jury scores.

We are pleased to announce this Spring Semester’s Quarter-Finalists:

“Find Your Frequency” – Brigham Young University

“Real Quality for Real People” – Brigham Young University

“Sound Advice” – Brigham Young University

“Get Means Give” – Kent State University

“Behind the Breakthrough” – Liberty University

“Bose Brings You Back” – Liberty University

“Safe in Sound” – Loyola Marymount University

“Stand Up & Stand Out” – Loyola Marymount University

“Escape Campaign” – University of South Carolina

Congratulations to all of this semester’s Quarter-Finalists, who join the Fall Semester Quarter-Finalists in moving forward to the Semi-Finals of the Bose Brand Challenge.

The Fall Semester Quarter-Finalists include:

“Bose Boss Battle” – Brigham Young University

“Defy Distractions. Redefine Success” – Brigham Young University

“Game Like a Pro” – Brigham Young University

“Cancel the Noise, Hear Your Voice” – Northwestern University

As the top-scoring cases from across the academic year, Quarter-Finalists have moved on to the next round jury to determine the Semi-Finalists. The Bose Brand Team will then select the final two teams that will be invited to present their campaigns. 

So the BYU AdLab had 7 of the 14 finalist entries.
