BYU AdLab Dominates ANDY Shortlist

The International ANDY Awards debuted their shortlisted entries and the School of Communications, via the BYU AdLab, has 10 pieces of work on the shortlist. This is an international competition with worldwide representation, including Germany, Brazil, Korea, and the US. BYU also has the most shortlisted entries of any University. Having so many entries make the shortlist is a prestigious honor for our advertising students.

Advertising Students’ Film Debuts at All-Star Weekend

The AdLab, in partnership with the Utah Jazz, debuted a film at last weekend’s All-Star game festivities in Salt Lake City. The production was one of 24 short films from 11 countries that were part of the NBA’s “NBA Films for Fans” initiative. AdLab students were given a brief and competed with professionals in the market to have the chance to make the Jazz-partnered entry.

Four Students from The BYU ADLAB named Most Promising Multicultural Students

The BYU AdLab had four students selected by the American Advertising Federation as the Most Promising Multicultural Students.
