“It’s amazing when students can show up a bunch of professionals”, said the Chief Creative Officer of Deutsch, Pete Favat. “BYU has been churning out a lot of great students. I shouldn’t be saying that because we have been hiring quite a few of them ourselves, but Adlab there is doing a fantastic job.”

The jury praised both spots highly for their craft, creativity and overall production quality, and that praise was solidified when they awarded BYU with the gold and silver.

“We’ve often hear about these slack job millenials and how lazy they are. I’ve never thought that, said Nick Law, the Chief Creative Officer at the Publicis Groupe. I think this is one of the great generations of creatives we’ve seen and I think [your spot] is a great example of that.”
