Imagine, if you will, climbing a snow capped mountain to a small shack with the word “Creative Advice Within” inscribed on the doorframe. You open the door to see a bespectacled man sitting on a rug surrounded by antique cameras and paintings of the ocean. Congratulations, you have just entered the creative shrine of Christopher Cutri.
Chris Cutri is much more of a creative mystic, a guru, than a professor. Not that he is ethereal but rather his teaching and advice seems to flow from a Zen centered lifestyle. When seeking advice on creative work from Chris it is half expected to receive fortune cookie encouragement like: “Good ideas are like mother bears, just step back and don’t get in their way.”
Chris has worked in several film production companies. He has directed commercials for television and he has filmed documentaries focusing on the things he enjoys: surfing, art, music, etc.
