What a year for the AdLab. Last summer we helped break records with the world’s largest water balloon fight. Now we are the first student agency to win a One Show pencil. This past Wednesday we were in LA for One Show Entertainment Awards. We met up with our friends from McCann and enjoyed a night of amazing work.
We won a bronze pencil for our work with McCann on the Holiday Inn Stay U campaign and our music video for Kyle Andrews. The campaign was nominated in the music category for the innovative way in which the campaign used and distributed music and for making a seriously cool music video that went viral on the Internet.

Some of the biggest names and brands in the industry were represented. From Gatorade (congrats to Ad Lab alum Brent Anderson for winning Best of Show) to Best Buy (even Twilight was there), the best work in advertising entertainment was recognized at the event. The Swagger Wagon video for the Toyota Sienna also won an award in our same category. And losing to them is no insult, that was some amazing work. We were honored to win at an award show for professionals.
