Addy’s A-Plenty!

The School of Communications, via the BYU AdLab, was awarded 38 ADDY awards in the Utah Chapter of the American Advertising Awards, from 27 different projects, with 10 Gold ADDYs and 28 Silver ADDYS ranging from print ads to tv commercials and everywhere in between, with many awards in the craft of art direction, copywriting, and cinematography. https://youtu.be/K5Z_kmPYIAk

It was a remarkable showing considering the difficult and unique year we have all experienced with Covid and the associated challenges of producing great advertising. With some great dedication and creative problem solving the advertising students really showed their passion and skill this year in the creative communication arts.

The judges commented how the student work was exceptional and were blown away by the caliber and quantity of award-winning work from the student entries. They said they have never seen that much great thinking and powerful executions from student categories in other judging they have done.
