Professor Chris Cutri’s creative works project won an Award of Excellence at this year’s BEA Festival of Media Arts in the Mixed-Pedagogy category. Work in this category highlights pieces that are done in conjunction with students. This project was done with Professor Cutri’s Content Creator students. They served in all of the production roles for the project. Professor Cutri and students met regularly to work out the creative logistics before shooting. The piece is a retelling of the Prodigal Son story. This topic was chosen as a response to the University’s call to do scholarship that focuses on the concept of families. This year BEA received its highest number of entries to the competition.
