Professor Jeff Sheets has been invited to serve on the 2024 Clio Awards Student Jury. Clios is one of the most prestigious international advertising awards shows. Clio’s mission is to: celebrate bold work that propels the advertising industry forward, inspire a competitive marketplace of ideas, and foster meaningful connections within the creative community.

Advertising students Destinee Neville and Adam Sheets have been named finalists in the 2023 Coca-Cola Refreshing films competition placing them in the top four of almost 1000 entries nationwide from 60 Coca-Cola partner universities. Their commercial script for Coca-Cola was selected for consideration to be aired nationwide as an ad during the trailers at Movie

Advertising strategy track students had the opportunity to take part in a New York experiential trip in mid-October.

The One Club’s Global College Rankings highlights the top ten advertising & design schools of 2023 and has ranked BYU in the #2 spot. Jeff Sheets and recent graduates Annabelle Peterson and Gwynie Bahr were interviewed by the One Club. Check out the interview here.

Recent Adlab graduates Taylor Ballard, Tanner Jackson, Morgan Capener, and John Starkweather have a winning entry in the CommArts 2023 competition, earning them a spot in the 2023 CommArts Advertising Annual (not yet published for 2023). Their winning entry, the NBA All-Star project for the Utah Jazz that was featured on NBA.com, can be seen HERE.

Zoë Taylor, Bethany Curtis, and Rachel Ankeney won the Project Yellow Light Competition. The National competition tries to bring awareness to the dangers of texting and driving. The students also saw their winning TV Spot play in Times Square.  Congratulations!
